We can support you with project registration, TAS Plan Reviews, and inspections to ensure your project is fully compliant and inclusive.
Project Registration Made Easy
Navigating the project registration process doesn’t have to be overwhelming. At Equitable Access, we make it easy by handling everything for you, including submitting your project through the Texas Architectural Barriers Online System (TABS).
Our Service:
- Flat Fee: $50 for project submission.
- Important Note: The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) requires a separate project registration fee.
How to Get Started:
- Complete Form EAB-205N: Email the completed form to us, and we’ll take care of the rest.
- Prefer to register your project yourself? Follow the steps below.
Project Registration Requirements:
- TABS Account: Set up a user account with a valid email address.
- Registration Fee:
- $175 for standard registration.
- $300 for late registration.
- Payment: Fees are non-refundable and can be paid via credit card on the Comptroller’s website
Expert Plan Review Services
Our team provides thorough TAS Plan Reviews to ensure your designs comply with all accessibility standards. We review construction documents and offer expert guidance to incorporate accessible design features.

When your project constuction docuemnts are ready to be reviewed please submit construction documents electronically. The following forms need to also be sent to us.

Thorough Accessibility Inspections
We provide detailed accessibility inspections to ensure your completed project aligns with TAS and ADA standards. Our inspections are conducted within 30 days of substantial completion, and we provide a comprehensive report with findings and recommendations.

Competitive Pricing and Travel Fees
At Equitable Access, we offer competitive pricing tailored to your project’s scope. For projects located more than 40 miles from our San Antonio office, additional travel fees will apply.

Travel Fee Policy
Projects located outside a 40-mile radius from our office address are subject to a travel fee. Below is a detailed breakdown of our travel policy and estimated fees for major cities:
Travel Fee Terms
For RAS inspections requiring overnight stays or travel more than 3 hours from our office:

Daily Service Rate: If there are multiple inspections out of our office radius and requires more than one day, a daily rate from the major cities fees below will be added.

Hotel Accommodation: A fee will be charged to cover lodging costs for overnight stays. The amount will depend on the location and availability but will reflect reasonable market rates for mid-tier accommodations.

Flight Expenses: For inspections requiring air travel, a per diem fee will be applied to cover the average cost of a round-trip flight. This ensures efficient and timely service.

Daily Meal Allowance: A $75 per day fee will be charged to cover meal expenses during the trip.

Transportation: Rental car or ride share per diem $150 per day.
